Time to Let Go of Stress

The 7th of this month is stress awareness day and we believe there is no better time than now to take a step back, take a breather, relax, regroup, rewind and destress. We know that it may not be as easy as it sounds and that life is probably more stressful than ever. But here are a few great reasons why you have no choice:

  • Stress has an enormous effect on your body, causing headaches, tension, chest pain, fatigue, sleep problems, changes in sex drive and more;

  • Stress has a large effect on your mood, causing anxiety, restlessness, lack of motivation or focus, sadness, depression, irritability and anger; and

  • Stress affects your behavior, leading you to over or under eat, causing social withdrawal, increasing the likelihood of substance abuse, changing your personality and more!

So, here are some easy ways to destress:
